Rahinston House offers exclusive venue hire and access to one of Ireland’s most historic private country houses, ideally suited to special events, family get-togethers, fundraisers, signifiant birthdays or corporate team events. Whatever your event, we offer a unique venue and have a range of packages to suit every celebration. Enjoy full use of the house and grounds with a range of catering options and activities available including: countryside walks, horse riding, team bonding activities, mobile spa & beauty therapists, shooting or falconry workshops and lawn games, all of which can be adapted to your requirements with our go-to providers. The house sleeps 10 with glamping available onsite. We also have a number or recommended local accommodation partners for additional guests.

Rahinston accommodation includes five bedrooms in the main house, all with original fireplaces which enjoy elevated views over the rolling estate, point to point course and the Pleasure Gardens.
The Empress SiSi Room: so called after the famous Austrian beauty who was a regular at Rahinston when she came over to enjoy the renowed hunting in Co Meath.
The Marquess of Donegal Room: the current Marquess resides in Scotland and is the brother of the late Lady Jennifer Fowler (Harry’s mother). This is a title that has been passed down through generations of a family who at one point owned most of Belfast.
The Archbishop Room: – so called after the Archbishop of Dublin who by virtue of his title was a very influential man in Ireland back in the 1700’s. Named Robert Fowler, his near life-size portrait hangs in the dining room.
The Brig Room: so named after Harry’s grandfather who inherited Rahinston from his uncle Harry. Renowned for his bravery in the war, he was always known and referred to as ‘The Brig’ . An exceptional horseman who introduced the racing vein to the equine existence of Rahinston.
The Captain Harry Room: so called after Captain Harry Fowler who had a huge reputation in Co Meath and beyond as a great horseman and a warm host. Rahinston enjoyed endless entertaining while Harry was the proprietor, with warm fires to greet guests as they returned from a longs days hunting.
Luxury glamping is an increasing popular option and offers a unique and memorable experience. Perfect for setting your wedding apart. Our glamping partners LMP Bohemia ensure alternative high- standard accommodation offering on site. Luxurious Bell Tents and yurts are set in their very own private meadow or gardens adjoining the house. This is the perfect way to keep guests on site and add to the romantic escapism and sense of adventure at your event. (cost not included)

Over the course of your event there are dining options available to cater for your guests. Rahinston grow their own vegetables and the freshest ingredients are used in all menus. Please discuss with us your preferred dining options and schedule.
